Patrick Gosselin
Assistant Professor of Finance
Bio
Dr. Patrick Gosselin is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the School of Management at 大象视频. His research focuses on the corporate finance and asset pricing implications of financial distress. Prior to joining Marist, Professor Gosselin accumulated nearly fourteen years of professional experience in various business and leadership roles. He began his career as an Army officer and deployed overseas multiple times, including a tour in Iraq. After transitioning to civilian life, Dr. Gosselin held roles with the corporate finance and restructuring practice at FTI Consulting, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, and as a freelance writer and consultant. During the height of the 2008 financial crisis, he helped distressed companies recover value for their investors; among others, he advised the creditors to Lehman Brothers鈥攖he largest corporate bankruptcy filing in U.S. history. He originally joined Marist as an adjunct instructor in 2015 and is a CFA charterholder.
