Dr. William S. Brown
Assistant Professor of Management
Bio
Prior to becoming an academic, Dr. Brown held high level HR positions in the World Headquarters of Fortune listed companies such as The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Philip Morris, Inc. and Mutual of New York (MONY). He also has been Director of Human Resources at Barnard College, Columbia University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as holding high level HR positions for the city of Pittsburgh.

Research Interests / Areas of Study
All aspects of human resource management/organizational behavior with an emphasis on ethical conduct. Research/scholarship areas of interest include: technological control in the workplace and workplace privacy; modern/post-modern mass society influences on technological progress and its impact on self; business ethics in transitional economies.
