Applying for Financial Aid as a Transfer Student

The (school code 2400) should be completed to be considered for need-based institutional aid and the (school code 002765) serves as the official application for federal aid.  If you are an International undergraduate student (non-US citizen), only a (school code 2400) is required to be considered for need-based institutional aid. 

Transfer Student Financial Aid Timeframe

Timeline for Spring 2025 Transfer Applicants 

  • October 鈥� December 2024: Update Federal 2024-25 FAFSA School Code to 002765 for Spring transfer applications. 
  • November 2024 (Rolling Notification): Student financial aid packages emailed on a rolling basis to Spring admitted students. 

Once deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to myMarist to view and complete additional requirements. 

* Transfer students' deposit deadline is typically two to three weeks after acceptance. 

Timeline for Fall 2025 Transfer Applicants 

  • October 2024: Complete the using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 2400 
  • December 2024: Complete 2025-26 FAFSA using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 002765 
  • March 2025: Student financial aid packages emailed on a rolling basis for Fall admits. 

* Transfer students' deposit deadline is typically two to three weeks after acceptance.
